About Kevin
Pastor Kevin Rogerson was born and raised in eastern North Carolina. He was saved on November 20, 1990, while attending the Christian school at Calvary Baptist Church. He graduated in 1993 and surrendered to preach in November 1993. Pastor Kevin graduated from Pensacola Christian College in 1997. On May 6, 2000, he and Mrs. April were married. After marriage, they soon moved to West Columbia, S.C., to begin full-time ministry. They served at Joel Baptist Church as a Pastor’s assistant for 3 years, and continued at the church for 17 more years as the pastor. Pastor Kevin and Mrs. April have 7 biological children ranging in age from 9 to 25 years old. In July 2020, the Lord moved them and their family to Abingdon, Va., to become the pastor at Emmanuel Baptist Church. They have served at Emmanuel Baptist Church since that time.
Pastor Kevin and Mrs. April have just recently adopted a little girl, Charli. Pastor Kevin and Mrs. April, along with their family, have fostered several children since 2025.
