Welcome to
Missionary Field Camp

Missionary Field Camp (MFC) is an intensive, five-day training and learning opportunity designed to better prepare God’s called laborers for the unseen challenges that are ahead.

Why MFC Exists

Each year, laborers all around the world prematurely leave their fields of service. The top 7 reasons for this are:

  1. Marriage/family problems
  2. Personal Strongholds
  3. Overwhelmed by satanic oppression
  4. Went without a call
  5. Burn Out
  6. Connection to local church/Pastor
  7. Inappropriate “Success” criterion
Many of these laborers started out having left their nets determined to follow Jesus, no matter the cost; however, the pitfalls and obstacles they faced in the work simply overwhelmed them.

Taught by Those Who Have Been There

Beginning on Labor Day each year, MFC is packed with 15 hours of intensive daily training. MFC curriculum is taught exclusively by veteran missionaries and church planters who have personally survived the unique trials of the mission field, including:

  • Death threats and incarceration
  • Military bombardments and natural disasters
  • Rogue elephants and deadly snakes
  • Life-threatening diseases
  • Satanic oppression and dark spiritual opposition

Activities during MFC are intentionally designed to give God’s laborers a realistic taste of the hardships encountered on the mission field.

More Than Survival

The purpose of MFC is to give God’s chosen laborers more than what they need to survive. Through the 4 areas listed below, MFC provides the comprehensive, hands-on preparation God’s laborers need to thrive:

Fortify your Biblical and Spiritual Preparation

Ground your ministry in the practical Biblical principles required to withstand, embrace, and overcome the spiritual attacks and challenges that lie ahead.

Streamline the Deputation Process

Master the strategies needed to get to your field most effectively.

Manage Finances Efficiently

Learn to navigate funding and stewardship under complex, real-world conditions.

Leverage Modern Technology

Utilize the latest digital tools to maximize your day-to-day impact as you labor for God.

Comments from Past Participants

The missionary database is absolutely invaluable.
I was very impressed with many of the points brought up concerning children and their place in the church.
The idea that the children are an EQUAL part of the church containing the same amount of the Holy Spirit as adults do... I had never seen that perspective before.
MFC has been such a blessing!
I also really enjoyed the level of interaction between the instructors and the students.
I honestly cannot think of a time when someone has explained church planting in this manner! It is absolutely amazing!
Thank you for caring enough to ask and dig into the reality our devotional time and prayer time.
Thank you the opportunity to actually practice leading songs, singing, presenting prayer letters, etc within the class, in a safe zone where we can not only receive encouragement, but critique.
One thing that has been consistently refreshing on a daily basis is the level of “personableness” from each of the instructors.
It is also really neat that the participants do not know what to expect from class to class. That is how it will be on deputation and the field.
… I cannot thank you enough for the spirit in which the criticism/assessment was given.
Extremely informative class (Medical Issues on the Field), I love how it kept going back to the Bible. It had practical information with not only the general illnesses typically faced in a third-world country, but also specific details (medication, dosages, etc) on how to deal with them.
MFC has been a blessing from start to finish.
The days have been long and full of information, but I continue to be amazed at how much the Lord has allowed me to absorb.
I find myself looking forward to each lesson even when my eyes grow heavy.
I'm grateful for how much preparation and scripture goes into each subject and I'm so excited to start applying the lessons to my daily walk.
I loved having a class with just women to learn about the issues of things like The Law of Mom… It has opened a whole new world in our marriage that we have never considered.
I really enjoyed of studying of stronghold classes, I am amazed at how many things that I have to work on.
